I am getting an Everdrive N8 Famicom version shell soon that will come with a white cart shell, but I would really like it to have a red shell. I can even swap for my white shell, or other items I have. Please PM if you can help.
***UPDATE***
I found shells for $10 at retrogate
http://shop.retrogate.com/Famicom-shell-SHELLFC.htm
I have a red shell but it's an original Famicom shell like this:

Can you PM me please? Let's make a deal
Thou hast receiveth PM :bub:
I decided to go with retrogate since they sell shells for $10
http://shop.retrogate.com/Famicom-shell-SHELLFC.htm
thanks guys.
They are $10 but they are very cheap - if you've just spend nearly $100 bucks on an Everdrive you want to do it justice with an original shell, but I can appreciate the retrogate ones are a cheap and easy solution.
No need to lock the thread, we enourage leaving threads open here as sometimes they stay relevant for years to come and get necroposted :octorok:
I can vouch for L_E_T's Everdrive shells. I enjoyed the fact that it looks as close and authentic as an actual Famicom game. I bought a yellow and it still looks great.
Thanks Rave - I do have to charge more than $10 for them as they're made from real donor carts and then hand made into Everdrive shells - it takes about an hour at least to prep everything, even without factoring in doing the label stuff and testing etc. I have a few left but most went when the Everdrive first went on sale.
Either wy I never looked to make money from them, they were a favour of sorts as no other option was available.
Yea maybe I can sell the white one I have (it does have a sticker) and get the red one from L__E__T. I wouldn't mind a red one with a spine sticker as well.
If the cost is a massive issue I can cut you a break, where are you based?
How does nobody know you can lock your own thread.
It's not a problem. Locking rarely benefits a thread anyway unless it's become toxic - in which case it's best to lock and keep as an example.
Yeah I don't see the point in locking a thread like this.
