How are you streaming? You are playing on a real Famicom?

Yes I am playing on a RGBmodded Sharp Twin Famicom. I am using my custom made 4 score in order to use normal NES controllers, ppl at this very forum here helped me construct it.
I have an active rgb splitter so one goes to [my framemeister->hdmisplitter->hdtv+streamingbox->computer->out to the internet+store on harddrive] and the other goes to my old bang olufsen tv where I'm actually playing for 0 lag.

It is REALLY sensitive with cartridges. If the cartridge is moved even a little tiny bit, the system will softlock. Do you guys have the same problem?

So that's why I'm running FDS Zelda right now. Problem is, the disk system in the sharp seems to have run out of life. So I'm going to move over my old rgb-failure-install-sharp-twin famicom disk system over to this one.

Yes it's because the cart pins have oxidated over the years. Merely cleaning the pins probably doesn't help but you can scrub away the oxidated metal with a fiberglasspen (glasfiberborste) or with an abrasive eraser. Then clean it again with 95%+ isopropyl alcohol (kallas också isopropanol och finns på Kjell).

You must clean the corrosion out of the cartridge slot with whatever you have that will scrape it off. Even just using a flat metal file will do the trick. Just run it over each pin, and blow the metal shavings out of the slot. When you put in a cartridge, do the 'wiggle-test'. While the system is on, wiggle the cartridge. If the game crashes, keep cleaning. The game should be able to run in a clean slot even if you touch the cartridge and bend it. I do this test before I sell any Famicom system to ensure it works 100% every single time.

In an hour or two I'll start streaming the hopefully final play of Zelda 1 second quest. I gotta eat first and chill a bit, but everything streamwise is setup already. If anyone's interested in helping, I'd appreciate help with finding 7th and 8th dungeons :)
I'll post youtube-streaming url here once I'm about to start.

The 2nd quest is awesome and so challenging, I love how everything is so mixed up! I really wish Ocarina of Time Master Quest was also really mixed up like Zelda 2nd Quest. More games deserve a 2nd quest!!!!

Nice! I really like Zelda on FDS, the enhanced music and sound effects makes it more special. The FDS console's unreliability scared me into getting a Everdrive N8 instead. Now I just wish Krikzz would fix up the 2C33 audio support.
