Title: Famicom controller to NES
Post by: limwer on January 15, 2015, 09:23:33 am
Hello,

I've got these adapters and I'm not sure whether to connect  Famicom accessories to NES, someone please enlighten me if I'm right.

It confuses me a bit that the two checks are to a single connector.  Also I have no attachment to test Famicom

Thanks..  ;D

It's for NES accessories on the Famicom, because the Famicom's 15-pin input can handle 2 controllers.

Use a generic Famicom control to test and I did not work in classic NES and Top Loader..

The control works perfect directly on the Famicom

Maybe the wires are broken.  :'(

I would check all pins with a multimeter. If it's a Famicom controller to NES adapter.

It can't be since the 15-pin end is male (remember Famicom expansion port is male).

I tried it and if there is continuity, but the control does not respond.
