Title: Eject lever on original Famicom stiff after reassembling the system - SOLVED
Post by: Famicom3DS on April 03, 2015, 05:31:48 pm
I've loosened up the screws on the bottom somewhat but it still requires a good bit of force to push up and down. Is this a common problem and how do you fix it? (The lever wasn't as stiff before I put it back together)

Also this isn't so much of a problem, but on my Famicom (HVC-CPU-05, smooth bottom) the power switch while the console is off has a bright red sticker to let you know if it's on or not. Not sure if this was some revision difference but I figured I should bring it up.

when i took mine apart I had the same issue, it was the wires from the controllers getting in the away of the sliding thing

Thanks for the help, it was the power switch wire getting hung on it once you clamped down the bottom. :)
