Title: Famicom English Patches
Post by: xcalamityjanex on June 01, 2015, 11:02:52 am
Hey, guys. I'm kinda new to the whole Famicom thing. :-[
I just got a Retron 5 and I am needing to find some english patches. Any suggestions on where to find some good ones? Specifically I need DBZ Gokuden 2 and Final Fantasy 6... If you have ever come across these, let me know!  ;)

RHDN is the best place I know of for translation patches: http://www.romhacking.net/translations/ (http://www.romhacking.net/translations/)

You'll need to get the ROMs yourself, as they only supply patches.  The ROMs are easy to patch, though: http://www.romhacking.net/faq/?page=faq#question3 (http://www.romhacking.net/faq/?page=faq#question3)

Supposedly there is some sort of hack to the system to allow loading of Roms. All the system does is dump the game to rom and then load the rom
