Is this satire? It's hard to take this seriously when it includes lines like: "Fearing that the ingredients posed a risk to the health of gaming fans, the company decided to take swift action. "

The article is being ironic.  Nintendo aren't protecting consumers from undercooked cookie dough or confusion, it's just legal talk to make it sound like you care more about said consumers.
