Title: Does anybody have a Famicom Disk System they would like to sell?
Post by: keiffer01 on June 22, 2007, 07:17:14 pm
Hi everybody. I've been looking for a Famicom Disk System for a long time now so I could finally play the only disk system game i own; Kid Icarus. I honestly don't really mind if it's not in perfect condition...but I don't want it to look too bad also. I'm also looking forward to pay about 70$( shipping included in 70$!) for one, so if anybody is willing to sell one, please leave me a message!:)

You might want to try ebay or google sellers of it. The disk system isn't extremely rare, so you should be able to find used ones for decent prices.

Yeah there's one on ebay right now for about 40$, but the shipping is about the the same amount as the system itself! That's whats keeping me from buying a Disk System. The shipping is just way too costly. That's why I like to buy one for about 70$ INCLUDING shipping.

Where do you live? If the shipping in in the US, it shouldn't be that bad. I have an extra but it needs the belt replaced. I have an extra belt but haven't taken the time to replace it. I've got the RAM for it but I don't know if I've got an extra AC adaptor. Let me know.

Yeah, where you live depends greatly on cost of shipping. If your in Britian, try ebay.uk rather than ebay.com for example.

Well, I live in Canada, Quebec. I read a guide about having the belt replaced, so it should be easy to replace. And I honestly don't really care about the AC adaptor; I can still play with 6 C batteries :) But how much would you charge for your system with shipping? :)

You were willing to pay $70 for one. I won't charge that much, so long as the shipping isn't expensive. Let's say $50 shipped, with the drive belt, since you'll be replacing it.
