Title: My style of AV Famicom MOD
Post by: FAMICOM_87 on August 07, 2015, 03:01:51 pm
Hi this is my Idea for a way how to make this mod and keep an original look of the console  :D

I used this guide : http://jpx72web.blogspot.bg/2016/11/famicom-av-mod-new.html

here my results :) and besides I save the RF functionality and everything is ok with the A/V and RF signals :)

And also used TV/GAME switch to turn off and on the microphone on the second controller.

Here I cut the trice for the mic

I used TV/GAME switch to do the job :

I removed the CH1 <-> CH2 switch and put 3.5mm stereo female jack  , I mounted it with super glue and silicone.
to do that I has to remove the parts and solder them on the other side on the board (resistors and caps)
I you can see inow I can use AV with 3.5mm Stereo Mini To 2 RCA adapter
And still can use RF :)

I think this is the best and most elegant way to do that MOD  8)

Happy modding  :D

Just one tip i suggest that you use shorter wires as possible as that way there will be no loss of quality due to the wires being too long.
