I recently got a bootleg of Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa. Now I am just trying to determine if it is one of those legendary "famicom disk system --> cartridge" pirates or not.
As we know, the game was eventually released on cartridge, and was originally released on disk. So here are my questions:
What are the differences between the cartridge and disk version of the game?
Also, does anyone here have one of these FDS --> cart ports? if so, any easy way to distinguish it from a bootleg of the rerelease game?
Thanks.
I don't know if this lists every difference, but here's the TCRF page: https://tcrf.net/Bio_Miracle_Bokutte_Upa (https://tcrf.net/Bio_Miracle_Bokutte_Upa)
Photos would be very nice, especially pcb ::) If there is custom mapper made of 6-8 logic ICs with proper date codes, this is conversion. It might be also conversion from Famicom version, using pirated mapper or so.
I have it on a multicart (super Mario Family) or two - it's the Famicom version, I can compare with yours if you want?
Thanks guys for the link and information. It is definitely FDS conversion, well worth the risk I took for this game. :)
