Title: Fuzzyness when playing Famicom
Post by: aguerrero810 on September 19, 2015, 10:35:24 pm
Sometimes when I play my Famicom. I will get a faint static over the game, but only the black part. It happens after a long playing session and turning it off, unplugging, turning on then off, plugging back in, then turning on doesn't help. I'm just asking because I feel like someone knows what is going on.

Thanks!
Anthony

You need some fresh air.

I used to deal with this when my Famicom had RF video. Get the AV mod done. RF is such a hassle and does annoying stuff like this. My picture used to turn black and white after a few minutes of playing and then disappear.

I'm thinking about it, is there a circuit you can recommend that doesn't require cutting traces? I don't really want to ruin a motherboard.

follow this guide , https://playoffline.wordpress.com/mod/oldfcfba/
you do not have to cut the trace for pin 21 (if you cut it you will reduce the vertical lines but it will disable RF functionality)

I used this guide and can use RF and AV :) because I did not cut that trice  :)
this is my way http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=12059.0
