Title: Anyone selling a Famicom?
Post by: Raditz on July 12, 2007, 10:21:16 pm
I'm looking for a original working famicom. Box isn't needed but the Adapter and RF switch are. Everywhere I've seen a decent priced famicom the shipping is too much. So anyone looking to sell let me know. Thanks. : )

Well I have the RF and AC from a US NES. Would those work? And Jabra, what exactly do you mean? What kind of famicom is it?

Jabra's talking about a Famiclone. Some pirate companies made them to look exactly like the original Famicom.

NES RF is ok. NES adaptor is a not ok. See the AC adaptors thread in Famicom / Disk System for more.

EDIT: Perhaps a Famiclone example from eBay: HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ORIGINAL-JAPANESE-Nintendo-HOME-COMPUTER-As-pictured_W0QQitemZ250142618666QQihZ015QQcategoryZ62054QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Way too expensive, btw.

Ok well I found this in the thread so I suppose that would work.

How much would you charge for the famicom?

Oh you can tell thats a famiclone by the "HOME COMPUTER" on the front right?

I've never come across a Famiclone that looked exactly like a Famicom. Usually the front of such a Famiclone will be called something like Home Computer or a variation of Family Computer.

Where would I be shipping?
