Apparently this is a good pirate cart. I've seen many reviews on the blue cart. There is a red famicom cart version which is much cheaper (Not the red NES version). It doesn't have a battery.. which is only really necessary for Kirby. Since Kirby is PAL i wont be playing it. Anyone have any experience with the red version? I think i remember reading it doesn't work on non clone hardware.. but not sure. :help:
Thanks

I read of people having the blue version of it. I myself recently accquired a yellow version 150 in 1 which also has a battery.
I don't really know what the difference to the blue one is because i already looked at the pcb and couldn't find a difference but i'd definitely suggest to not get the yellow one.
The more simple games on the yellow one work but Super Mario Bros 3 for example is completely fucked up and is glitchy as hell.
Kirby's Adventure only starts up when selecting save file 3 (otherwise freezes) and is also full of glitches.
I haven't tested all of the games but since those two games are probably one of the nicest to have it's pretty sad for them to not work properly.
All in all i kinda regret getting it.
I'm not sure if the blue one is completely fine but i saw a gameplay of smb 3 on the blue one and it was fine...
There are a few vids.. everything seems to run great on the blue one. Well, other then Kirby and Mario 2. Both are PAL versions and run to fast with glitches. Guess i'll just stick to blue.
I'm not sure about that cart, but check these out:

Dirt cheap, and a great selection of games. Yeah, they're made from the usual crappy Chinese materials, but at that price, who cares. There are a couple of PAL titles and the odd game doesn't work properly, but for the most part they're great :)
Here's a review of the 198 in 1:

I have the yellow one and mine works fine on all my NTSC hardware (Twin Famicom and NES Toploader), and my only problem is that some of the games are PAL including Kirby which has some strange colors and the save system doesn't work. Every other game I've played has been fine so far (including the PAL ones, I'm just not used to the sped up music - except for Castlevania which is PAL but plays just like its NTSC counterpart).
I think it will be fine to bump this topic with the review of mine for this multicart. ;D

I didn't experience too many problems with my version of multicart. There are some, but most games work just fine for me. :)
Plus I got New Ghostbusters II here, instead of Activision's game, which is even better thing. :D
The save battery is kind of glitchy, but works. My problem with it is described there.
But, I have CIB copy of Hoshi no Kirby, so it's not a huge loss for me, that Kirby has some problems on multicart.
SMB3 is a pirated version here, works fine as far as I've tried it.
Item select cheat added to the inventory, which was on older bootleg copies as well.
But, pirates also threw in an interesting surprise, which is the infinite star power. Once collected, I can't lose it, and I remain invincible for the rest of the level. :O
Cool multicart though, and probably the best one up to date.
Edit: I tested the multicart at first on my AV Famicom. No glitches appeared in the games, like SMB3 and Kirby's Adventure, except for the latter one having some colors a bit screwed.
Tested on original Famicom, and some glitches appear in SMB3, like some sort of invincible blocks, or other random blocks in the sky. Same thing with Kirby. But at least, on AV Famicom, it works fine, and I use that console most of the time to play my FC carts. ;)

Lucky! ;D
If the saving doesn't work in Kirby then the battery is probably dead. I received a blue cart where the battery was at 0.5 volts and I had to change it (after which it worked).
The Red one is a pirate and cheaper version that the original "Blue or Pocketgames version"
Some guys on another forums says that the red one didn't works on original hardware, beware!!
