Yeah, my wife tells me all the time. She has a friend in that region who now can't reach her family because the phone lines are dead. :-\

Wow, that's awful. Another reason why I'd rather just stay here all my life.

That big shit made me and my wife shakes a lot here, miles from the epicenter :o
But Im still okay, me, my wife, my two crazy chihuahuas and my Famicom  shrine:D

Thanks for worry about that ;)

Advice: The best way is still away from this land, I'll do it soon! almost 15 years on this country makes your brain melt down :P

Thanks, JL!

For the guys who wanna live here in Japan:

Nothing like your own country, your own culture, near your family, your real friends... I miss it too much :'(
I don't hate the japanese people, but almost all of them are Totally different from westerners, in any aspect. To be sincere,
I feel very lonely here, because I don't have to much contact to another foreigners and it isn't good to keep your "brain health" ok.
This country is beautiful, they have all that a gamer wants, but the essential for a good relationship...fortunally, my wife lived and studied on US, so she changedand "westernized" her mind, otherwise, is almost impossible to keep a relationship with them for a long time. I get used to see foreigners guys and japanese girls getting divorce because they "don't match" and just realize it too late. 最悪な事になるから。
But...

If you are planning to live here not for a long time, I think it's okay, you can work it out with no problems - just try to live near akihabara ;D and avoid to be a slave for your material desires ;)

Oops, sorry for the blog, guys :-[

Good advice. But I'm still planning on spending at least five years in Japan in international studies. I think the country has a lot to offer me and I want to take that offer as soon as my studies allow.
