SOLD - a Neo Geo MVS MV1FS - I really dont know if it works or not, it looks OK though.
I wanted to consolize it but I really lack the skils so want to sell it to some one who can make it. I bought it as is, it had a battery which had not leaked but I replaced it with a coin cell holder. Also disconnected the charging circuit.I never did anything more on it. :(
I am giving it away for 45 SOLD USD + shipping from Japan. DIY for modders. NCNR.

Make sure you remove the 470ohm resistor near the battery. It's used to charge the old rechargeable battery that you replaced with a non-rechargeable cell. If you power the board like that with the 470ohm resistor still in the battery circuit, you'll cause the battery to explode.
Very good deal though, GLWTS.
I'm tempted as I have a JAMMA set up and am looking for one of those MVS multicarts - but I really need to know if it works or not before I grab one tbh.
Do you know if MVS need any kind of special harness? My supergun is set up capcom style.

I am sorry, wish I could complete this kit and let you know.. :(
The Neo Geo MVS is JAMMA compatible except for the 4th button for each player. You may have to patch your supergun setup to re-route the Neo Geo D button (4th) over to one of your kick harness buttons. The other issue is that MVS board (MV-1FS) supports stereo off the JAMMA edge, which is non-standard. You can simply flip the stereo-mono switch to fix that.
Thanks for that info, it sounds like it's not quite for me yet in that case.
1-slot MVS motherboards are JAMMA. It's the multi-slots that are different.
You can read about it here: http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Beginners_Guide_To_SNK_Neo_Geo_MVS#Running_MVS_in_your_JAMMA_cabinet (http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Beginners_Guide_To_SNK_Neo_Geo_MVS#Running_MVS_in_your_JAMMA_cabinet)
Yes, 1-slot MVS boards are JAMMA, but they include an extra button per controller. Also, the pictured MV-1FS can output stereo and mono from the JAMMA edge with a switch.
