Title: FMD-POWER-03 board in Disk System
Post by: daskrabs on February 26, 2016, 05:12:30 am
I have an FDS with FMD-POWER-03. It looks identical to 02 boards according to here:

Does this mean that I have no write-protection on the drive? I haven't examined my drive controller chip, but it would have to be the 7201, correct?

I recently sold a FDS drive with POWER-03 and a 7201 controller chip, it didn't appear to have any copy protection.

I have a FMD-Power-03 and 7201 drive and it works with write, no problems using FDSstick to write or using written disk hacker disk to copy
