Post by: Icelvlan on March 31, 2016, 03:37:43 pm
Hello,

Which of the famicom twins would be the rarest? They all seem to be about the same price point.

model 1 black
model 1 red
model 2 black green

Thanks,

Icelvlan

Cool thanks!

What about a model 1 black vs a model 2 turbo black/green? Which one would be more valuable? Sorry i have a friend trying to sell me one and i don't know which one to pick since he wants the same for both.

Trying to pick between the 1st and second one on this link.

Note that the first one on this page has been modded...they don't usually have the LED on light.

If I had the choice of either the 500 or 505 for the same cost, the Turbo hands down. Longer controller cords were sorely needed. I wonder how long the cords are on the Titler?  :gamer:

I vote for the Turbo too, normally they go for more money.

From what I can see online they seem to be as long as the standard Famicom cords. The difference is that they come out from the side of the system near the front instead of at the back, so for all intents and purposes they may be the same as the Turbo Twin Famicom's.

I took my systems out quickly to help you compare. I did a rough measure on the cables of Famicom (30"), Twin 500 (36"), and Twin 505 (50").

That's a good idea. Are you starting a collection of Famicom consoles (If you haven't started one already)?

Not so much collecting, but when I come across a deal I pick them up.

They both need new belts but are in great shape. One even has the psu and av cables.
