Title: Abilities of Kosodate Gokko
Post by: aitsu124 on May 08, 2016, 03:45:08 pm
I've been looking into FDS hacking devices (especially Aitsu's) recently, and know all the features of most of them. But I still don't understand what the Kosodate Gokko does.

According to a couple Japanese sites (which are poorly translated), it's some sort of a backup device, but they give no further detail. It launched alongside Tonkachi Editor, which supports this, but what does backing up even mean in this case, and how does it work? Does anyone know the purpose of this thing?

Thanks!

It's for copying disks I believe. Some googling reveals that you don't need a Game Doctor or anything to use it. You just insert it, let it load, insert the disk you want to copy, follow on-screen instructions and so on.

Won't work with games that have copy protection like Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic.
