Title: Would it make sense to trade an original Famicom for an AV Famicom?

I'm tired of my Famicom's bad RF output, and I can't find a good enough guide to mod it for AV, so I want to know if it would be sensible to trade it for an AV Famicom.

Yes, if you can get away with that. The AV is much easier to use.

You'd best just buy a new one from ebay. used, unboxed AVs usually run around $50.
