Title: FDS Trouble
Post by: reverendblaze on October 17, 2016, 01:48:02 pm
I just replaced my FDS belt on a unit I bought off eBay using this tutorial:

https://youtu.be/fOY1G3Sg11Q (https://youtu.be/fOY1G3Sg11Q)

But, every time I try and adjust the unit like in the video, I get a clicking noise, follow by constant loading, but no Family Computer screen.

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: This is a YouTube video I shot of the problem:

EDIT 2: Tinkered with it some more, now I get a black screen followed by either error 27 or 28. No more clicking noise

At first glance it seems like you have an alignment/spindle problem. Did you ever get anywhere with this?
