I recently picked up a bunch of Famicom Disk Games, (where yet again the two Zelda 2s were overwritten...5 attempts later...),but there was also an overwritten Dr Chaos disk which has two versions of Tonkachi Mario on it. One which is normal, as far in as normal goes, and the other has Mario who can jump super high.
Is there any worth to these at all?
I guess the hacked games may have some value for people that collect that kind of stuff or want to dump them if they aren't already. Otherwise they are worth as much as a normal loose FDS games are if you relabel them to match their content.
Probably not much value in them. I have those versions as well as a few different ones.
The high jump one is available on The Game Archives, and is part of a series of Tonkachi hacks called Mituy hacks. They can be written by anyone, doubt they're worth much.
