So, I did some research into the Umihara Kawase series after falling in love with Yumi's Odd Odyssey and I've narrowed it down to either getting the original on SNES or the DS port of Umihara Kawase Jun.
Which should I get?
I played a version for the pax that was awesome. I know that doesn't exactly answer your question.
Nothing beats the original, so go for that. Unless the DS port is drastically different which could make it worth playing. Then again, I've not heard of the game myself :P
I would choose SFC naturally, but isn't the DS version quite different? I would really like to pickup the PS Vita version, it has a bunch of extra content as well as the original game! :bub:
I've only played the SFC original and you can't go wrong by picking that.
