What are people's thoughts? I think the job could have had a better finish, but I've often wondered how the Av might look in original FC colours.
I like it turned out really nice. Here's old yellowed famicom I recently painted with dupli-color vinyl spray paint

Another thread regarding the same idea I don't like- ruining original consoles. This specific one actually looks ugly to me, it looks more like a clown with red nose rather than a console...

Nice work. Very professionally-done :D Call me crazy but, I'd like to see the Famicoms spray-painted in other colours, maybe for those that resemble other consoles, even the ones of today ;)
I think the machines look nice, though I am not a huge fan of the white. Maybe it's because every Famicom I've ever seen has been aged away from that pure white color due to aging, even the cleaner ones, but the white just looks too pristine for me, almost unnatural. Despite not suiting my personal tastes, it still looks nice, and as long as the owner is happy, that is what matters most :)
Inspired by Patrick, one of the members here, I painted a Famicom too, though not so seriously. Actually, it was a Famiclone, and although it is currently hanging on my wall, it does still work. I hope to repurpose some of the other Famicom / Famiclone parts lying around and make art projects from them as well, in the future.
