Would love to see more content on the front page, I worry it could turn people away that might think the site is inactive.

That wouldn't be an inaccurate description of the site beyond the forums. :-X
I can see about updating the home page this weekend if I get a chance.
I think it's good to update sometimes, and this is an excellent choice for the site.
A dead front site could make you think the forum is dead too.
Don't worry guys, we at ContraBanda team, tends to update once per year or two so don't be upset :crazy:

YAY! I just saw it go up but will read later. One of my friends submitted a design again this year (Arkotype) and I keep meaning to make one myself every year. Next year is the time I'll enter. Plenty of ideas over the years!

One thing that might be nice to have as a near-monthly update is a running list of every Japan-exclusive title that's been released on the Nintendo Online service for the Switch. You can get the Japanese version on an international console very easily (took me about 5 minutes), which we could make a quick guide for as well, and show people why they should have it over the US one (or keep both). Currently the Famicom edition has Joy Mech Fight, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Tsuppari Ozomo, and a handful of others (including FDS versions over cartridge versions if applicable). New games are added each month, but it's not guaranteed there will always be Japan exclusive games, so FW could be a place where people could look to see if there are.
I like this idea, if it includes the Special versions. None of these match the real thing for me though.
