Title: Capcom's 1942 Concept
Post by: Jedi Master Baiter on May 12, 2019, 05:05:18 pm
I find it weird that a Japanese company develops and publishes an arcade game based around the Pacific battles of WWII, specifically for the fact that the player takes control of a P-38 against the Japanese air fleet. How was this received by the Japanese market at the time? I imagine it'd be like releasing a Modern Warfare where the player takes control of the Vietcong.

I tried looking elsewhere on the internet to see if this topic has been brought up, but I can't find anything. Am I the only one who questioned this? ???
