Title: PS2 Discs
Post by: FamicomFreak on October 17, 2007, 12:06:45 pm
I have a question about PS2 discs. If they have scratches on top of them does it keep them from working? I bought Kingdom Hearts 2 and it does contain a couple of scratches on the top of the disc so I'm unsure if it'll work or if it does work will it work later on in the game. Sometimes that can happen. Well any help will be appreciated.

It always depends.
Some scratches shouldn't make problems. But if you're unlucky, even 1 little scratch can ruin a disc.
I guess you'll have to try. ;)

hmm I copied everything on the KH2 dvd to the desktop and it all copied well. I'm guessing if there were any problems I would've gotten an error on reading the disc right?

Your computer's disc drive is probably leaps and bounds better than your ps2's disc drive.  All you're proven is that your computer can read the disc, not that the disc is readable by your ps2.
