Title: Types of oil or lubricant recommended for use
Post by: Kdb908 on November 26, 2019, 11:24:27 am
Hello. I am having issues with my FDS getting stuck on loading and never actually loading the game. I believe this is caused by the card reader not going far enough back to hit the switch. I would like to lubricate the shaft that the disc reader travels but I would like to know what type of lubricant to use. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you verified that the head not pressing the switch is the problem? ???

I have not, should I try letting it run without the top to watch it? I’m not sure what other reason the games would be stuck on the loading screen without an error message. I am able to get the games to boot up about half the time.
