Title: Supervision 76-in-1 graphical glitch HELP!
Post by: FAMICOM_87 on December 10, 2019, 04:40:25 pm
Hi I have this cool multicartrage  :redcart: but unfortunately there is some issue with it .
https://bootleggames.fandom.com/wiki/Supervision_76-in-1

Mine have a strange graphical glitches and in different consoles various consoles
On the original famicom is near totally glitched, on one 1:1 clone is totally glitched, and on some NOAC it is near ok and even playable only with vertical lines .
all games looks similer to the screen shot from Front Line wit vertical lines .
But some games are glitched like:
-Ice climber in title screen
-Galaxian is glitched and unplayable
-Lunar ball is totally erased (flashing screen)
-B-Wings sometimes starts but sometimes do not

So I take a photos from NOAC with less glitches

I noticed that if I cover with tape and isolate pin 36 (PRG D7) on the cartage , nothing changes all glitches are the same and are present no metter if this pin is isolate from the console's slot or not  , so the problem is somewhere there , but I measure the trace and find out that it goes to the pin 2 on the GS GM76C88 RAM chip, and the trace is OK not broken , so what to do ?  ???
:help:

The cartridge looks very corroded!

Those black bars on Front Line looks like a CHR problem rather than a PRG problem though. I'd check all necessary pins, PRG and CHR, if they are connected properly.
