Hi there. I got a Famicom a while back and lost the ac adapter for it. I tried using an NES Ac adapter on it to no avail, only finding out later that its VERY bad for the famicom, and now even after getting a replacement ac adapter, it wont work. I was planning on just buying a replacement famicom and keeping or selling the fried one for junk parts, but i thought i'd ask if there were easy ways i could repair it without too much work to save myself some cash.

Probably not, but if you are lucky maybe it's enough to just replace the 7805 voltage regulator.
