Bought supposedly working Famicom on eBay using official NES RF cable (NES-003) and I'm getting this:

Distorted, shaking image with TV noise. Did I get a defective unit? Anyway to fix this?
P.S.1 I don't think problem is the RF cable because it worked fine on Super Famicom.
P.S.2 People on reddit recommended me to try tweaking pot but when I opened the console, mine was blocked by metal plate and I have no idea how to remove it and access pot.

It was CH 95 (1) and CH 96 (2) for me and yeah I tried both and got the same results.
I don't think the Famicom is defective, only the RF unit is noisy.
They say to move the pot a little in both directions a few times with a screw driver to shake off some oxidation and dirt, if you can figure out how to open the plating (I don't know how sorry).
You should be able to pry the metal plate off if I remember correctly but a av mod would be the best as it's a pretty easy and cheap mod to do.
