Post by: osmelfb5 on September 19, 2021, 02:41:42 pm
Hello friend, since I was a child, I have this cartridge, and I have always dreamed of being able to one day modify the content, even add new games, someone will have the procedure for this, by the way I want to share the image of the cartridge.

The number of the chip that I mentioned in the previous text has 16 x2 pins, friend I am really very interested in being able to find or know the names of the pins.

Heh they managed to adhere a surface-mount RAM chip to that board.

What game is on it? Nintendo's mask ROMs are not always JEDEC standard, so you may have to be creative to replace it with an EPROM on an official board. I guess that's unlicensed though?
The shell must also be cut open if you want to fit a slotted UV-EPROM for easy reprogramming.
You may find the Nesdev Wiki (https://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php?title=Mask_ROM_pinout) a treasure of information.

You can also make a cartridge using all new parts (https://www.muramasaentertainment.com/product-category/new-cartridge-parts/nes-game-parts/), though it may be a bit pricey.
If you get or make a board that can take SST39SF010 (easy to find 32-pin flash-ROM that operates at 5 V) as ROM you should be able to reprogram it without the need to take the chip out, saves you cutting the shell. Some homebrew even supports saving data on the flash-ROM instead of SRAM.

I see, it's a bootleg multicart, so unlicensed.
