Hi I got this copy of mother 2 not long ago as you can see the top of the box isnt red like it usually is. I was wondering if anybody ever seen one like this or had any info on this. The top flap of the box was likely facing a window and was bleached by the sun.
i thought the same too but the words are not faded at all
Looking at other listings (https://www.ebay.com/itm/265789196326) of faded Mother 2 boxes on eBay shows results that look quite close to yours. The sun definitely doesn't like the color red as it tends to fade much more than darker colors like black.

i see what your saying but the top is tan and the tan is real uniform not spotted at all
not white like the box in that ebay listing
