Hey everyone, just thought I'd pop in and show you guys what we've been up to recently. Here's a new game for the Famicom titled Mr Lee's Alishan Tea Collector.
The game itself revolves around a taxi driver, Mr Lee, going up into the high mountains of Taiwan to collect tea, in the hopes of being able to get a nice payout for his efforts.
The game itself is quite meaningful to me as it's based loosely on a trip I took with another game collector/ Famicom gamer, and our driver of course is Mr Lee, who became a legend in our eyes.
Here you can check out a video about the game.

And here's an unboxing:

Originally a rough demo was given out as a gift at a coding conference I attended, this version is more or less a full game.
Some more information and some screenshots from the early demo can be seen here:

The game is finished and is out, though we might make a sequel with better graphics and stuff in the future.
This release beings homebrewing somewhat back to its roots, everything was hand assembled and soldered by me, all boxes printed at a local shop and handcut by me, etc.
Very great work! I like the packaging. The game looks very fun. I like to hear about the real Mr. Lee too. 😎
