Hey everyone, been having trouble with this Fire Emblem 1 cartridge. It will boot but usually show corrupt sprites if I'm able to start the game, or it will reboot/hang on the select screen. I opened it up and the battery had leaked on the board. I cleaned it up and then I re-flowed all the solder on the pins and replaced the battery. The game was working without flaws and I was able to complete stage one and save/reload. The next day it is back to not being able to start it again. Any ideas?
Some of those traces look to be eaten away. Check continuity on the ones that look bad.
Yes! That seems to be the issue. I just ordered some copper.
