I was trying to find info about Super Famicom AC adapters earlier and was led to listings for HVC-002. That seemed odd because I know HVC-002 is for the original Famicom and I thought it was only for it. I rummaged through some adapters and found two different HVC-002s--see attached. It looks like they're effectively the same, with different product codes from the manufacturer. Can anyone confirm that both the Famicom and Super Famicom use the same adapter?
Yes they have the same specifications, Yamauchi made sure that the same adapter could be reused with the Super Famicom.
I can confirm as I use the same AC-DC-adapter with my Famicom and SFC.
Just don't use the adapter for NES or SNES since those are AC-AC-adapters which will fry the FC/SFC.
