Title: Huge Insect PCB photo
Post by: P on May 07, 2026, 09:16:10 am
Is there anyone here that has Huge Insect and is willing to take a photograph of the cartridge PCB?
I'm asking for Nesdev (https://forums.nesdev.org/viewtopic.php?p=308641#p308641) for the sake of confirming which nametable arrangement the game uses which is required information for this game to work properly on emulators and flashcarts.

Sure, I can do that. I'll try to remember to do it this weekend.

Here you go!

I didn't cover up the windows because I want to see how long it is before someone comes in yelling at me to do so :)

Thanks man! These photos confirmed that the game really uses vertical arrangement instead of horizontal like what current dumps are set to in their header (just repeating what was said in the other thread).

Were those UV-windows always exposed? I guess the manufacturer relies on the shell being dark enough.

Yeah, I mean what's a small sticker gonna do that a thick plastic shell can't?
