Title: FDS Insert Scans
Post by: i heart yuna on January 09, 2008, 12:31:01 pm
I will be posting links to scans of all the FDS inserts in my blog over the nest week or so. Below are the first two, I hope to have more up later today. It takes a while because as I scan them I am removing the fold creases and color correcting them.

I will post these and all future scans on my blog at

http://iheartyuna.wordpress.com

The files are High Quality Print PDFs. Be advised that these PDFs are around 18-20 mbs each, but they will print beautifully.

I will scan all the promo posters, and than move on to scanning the entire manual and the box art.

And your blog, altogether, is a good read and very funny.  I'm definitely keeping an eye on this!

You are my hero! scans of FDS inserts are VERY DIFFICULT to come by, and this is precisely what I'm looking for. Thank you thank you thank you!

By the way: exellent blog. You are dead on with the Game Genie and the infinite lives thing. As for crewed up controllers, I can relate. I didn't crew controllers myself, but my dog did when she was a puppy. I would get upset whenever she'd do it, but my parents told me it was my own fault for leaving the controller on the floor. Looking back, I guess they had a point :D

I'd buy a set, assuming shipping is reasonable.

I'll buy a set for sure. These are pretty damn cool.

In the meantime, can you please post the poster of Disk-kun by himself with the white background? That's the perfect embodiment of the FDS as a whole, and it'd be perfect for my custom cover for the FDS RAM Adaptor. I'm not sure it'd be of much use as a PDF though. Could you try PNG? If not, then I'll have to work around it. I await your post  :)

FYI, you can export a PDF to a PNG using Ghostscript and GSview (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/).

Anyway, please provide the scan as soon as you can. I'm egar to make up and share with you my work.
