The Game Boy Camera has been one of my favorite Nintendo accessories ever. Its just so, fun, goofy and random. I had mine back when I was younger and bought it from blockbuster and it came with the Gameboy Pocket, the camera iself and the AC adapter. It also came stored in big plastic case (may take a pic of it later) designed for it. My sister also got a game boy camera and game boy pocket, and later we bought the game boy printer, so we each used the game boy printer together and had fun sharing our photos and all. Today I'm still in love with the Game Boy Camera, and i keep playing with it every now and then. Anyone else dig this thing? 8) ;)

I have the printer and want to try it out.
Is there still paper available for it? ???
No they don't produce some anymore. But last year I got lucky because I went to this Zellers store and found 3 new printer paper boxes containing three rolls each for only 1$ a box :) So there might still be some around you just need to look carefully and everywhere and have patience.
I decided to take a couple of pictures of my system with the case it came with. Anyone ever seen this case? It's from blockbuster, since you could rent the gameboy camera with the gameboy back then.

I found a game boy camera for a .99 at gamestop a month or so ago and I do agree it's an awesome accessory! I am in the look out for the printer...and mario 8

A friend of mine prints the photos out, then scans them. You could also try to photograph the screen.
Maybe 133MHz can wire you up something to transfer the pics directly... ;)

It never hurts to visit gamestop once in a while. I found a game boy player for my cube the other day. Now I can play my gb,gbc,and gba carts in a TV screen wekekekee

Yes you can! You need a Game Boy Link Cable for sacrifice, DB-25 plug, diode, transistor, a parallel (printer) port on your PC, and a Pocket Printer Emulator software for your computer.

So you make this cable, connect your Game Boy to your PC, run the Pocket Printer emulation software, and then 'print' your photos to your PC!

Our gamestop isn't very good. They had some gameboy stuff like a year ago, and I was like "Cool! i wish i had money." A few weeks later, they had no gameboy stuff :(
I did get this cool gameboy and game holder with pikachu on it, though. :P
I'm sure there are also adapters like "serial to usb" or something like that.
I dont think that's possible.
There are like 26 pins in serial, but only four on USB, and not even all of the usb pins are for information.
I think it would take a pretty big thing to make all of the pins line up correctly and work.
Serial to USB adapters are pretty common, actually. They're of varying quality, though.
