Title: Japan orders Apple battery probe
Post by: Doc on August 29, 2006, 11:29:42 am
(I think it's finally time that we talk about what's happening in the United States AND Japan, so why not post news articles, and people can read and reply with their thoughts and opinions on them?)

I hear a lot of people in the United States are having this problem with their computers. This is why I don't have a laptop yet, because of crap like this.

Yeah, MSNBC had some good images of one exploding into flames! I always worry about mine because it gets really, really hot. I hear people usually prop theirs up on a deck of cars or something so more hot air can escape and cool things down. I've got mine propped up on a Famicom cart: Baseball. :-\

lol.

Yeah, that's why I don't bother with a laptop. They're going to hopefully make ones with better technology, so hey!

I bought a cooler pad - works well. :)

Ahh, that's a good point aswell.

The computers in the schools have big mini fans in them...maybe they can work something out with that?

Oh mine has a mini-fan -- and it works overtime, I tell ya. The thing is fucking annoying because it's so loud when it's blowing out air. I hate it. The thing is only about three years old...but I need a new one. Technology moves too fast.

Yeah, I remember when I had a Windows 98 laptop...I used to use the shit out of that. Those were the days...
