Title: WTB: Sharp Twin Famicom
Post by: VileRedFalcon on June 13, 2008, 02:07:57 pm
Hello! I am new to the forums here at FamicomWorld, but I do a lot of trading at GameTZ and NintendoAGE under the same SN.

I am looking for a nice looking and working Sharp Twin Famicom with hookups and controllers. If you have one in the box, that would be even better. I am willing to buy or trade.

Thanks for looking!

Welcome. eBay usually has a bunch of them. But always selling for more than they should, of course. Good luck. I still need one. :-[

Thanks, happy to be here!

I've seen a couple on eBay as well, but I've been burned a couple times this past year on eBay and I despise PayPal, so I was hoping to find one here (for less).  ;D

Hey!
I have a boxed twin famicom, It works like a charm after a beltchange and some fine tuning.....
It´s NOT for sale though  ;D unless you pay me loads for it  ::)

And they always comes with controllers, since they are "built in"....  the only really bad thing with it is that the cables to the controllers are waaaaaaaaayyy to short.

But I recommend you to buy one, good luck and welcome!

Sorry for the OT... The other day I was watching Dethklok/Metalocalypse and there's this Swedish guy who speaks everything in plural. I thought it was just invented for the show, but...

Metalocalypse is a great show. I've heard that they have formed a real band named Dethklok and they are or will soon be touring.

Yeah, I overpayed for my twin fami with a lot of games, but its defiantely worth it if you can pick one up. My twin fami gets more use than my NES now, since it plays fds, fami games, and i have a converter so I can play my NES games on it as well :)

We sell a couple different models on my site:
http://www.risingstuff.com/twin-famicom-an505bk-p-1823.html

That's the late edition one with turbo controls and longer cords for the controllers which is why it's more expensive. We'll be listing the red earlier edition ones pretty soon  so if you wanna hold out, there'll eb cheaper ones.

Yeah, I was going to list the Red Twins at $99 but if one of you guys want it (and are planning to buy a couple of games along with it), I could drop the price to like $80 or something.  But personally I think the late edition black (with turbo) is the best Famicom system ever.

Just PM Alex or I.  We have 2 reds and 2 blacks right now (the black ones are on the site already)
