Jealousy anyone? :)
Wish I had this dude's collection.
This is cool, too:

Was it just me or was he pwnd at SFII? :P
Cool stuff. I would've like to see if that guy had any unique Famicom stuff.
I also like that article on Famicom. Does the article claim that some official carts were released as glob-tops?
That guy's store is only 2 hours from me, I've been there before and met him. He's a cool guy and has EVERYTHING! But his trade in values are the worst I've ever seen. I offered him everything I have in my Atari 2600 for sale thread and he would have given me $55! Fucking ridiculous.

You must be in NJ then. So am I and I"m also about 2 hours away. I've never been to his store but after seeing he had Famicom I would love to check it out.
Oh and here is his website for those who don't know.

Yep I live in Wall, NJ. Where might you be from?

Holy shiznap. I'm in Jackson I'm probably about a half hour away from you.
With horrible trade in values no wonder he has all that stuff. Is he worst than Gamestop? I like his collection but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have much of the wonderful pirate Famicom carts! and Disk System games awaaa! His PS2 collection is kewl though.

Is that by Wawa and Surf Taco? I think I know what your talking about but I've never been there yet. I guess I'll have to check it out.
It's on Hope Chapel Rd. I've never been there, but I've been to the one in south Jersey and it was pretty cool. No Famicom games though.
Joe is a nice to as well. I meet him at CGE last year in Vegas. I have talked to him several times over at DP and a few other places as well.

Seems like a nice enough guy. Seriously, though, what can you do with all of that stuff. That's why I focus mainly on one system, getting bits here and there for others. You can only play so much.
I agree. What can you do with all that stuff? It's tough to enjoy all the stuff I have for Famicom, let alone all the other systems I have games for, and I have no where near what that guy has. I think he probably enjoys the collecting aspect rather than actually playing the games he has.
There are only so many hours in the day and that makes it tough to have time to play games and do all the other things adults have to do. Guess we all wish we had more free time. :P
I think what's incredible is that the Keno brothers on Collect This! are 51 years old. I woulda never guessed.
Those guys try way too hard to be cool.
One of the things that suck about people like him too is that they are pretty much only 'collecting.' He probably only plays certain games and just nabs others because he 'needs to have them,' which just ups the price overall. If he was going to make a museum, like the guy from SMSpower is, great. Otherwise, what's the point? I hate that whole 'collecting for the sake of collecting' deal, it just ruins it for everyone overall.

Same for people who collect sealed games. Waste of money IMO. I usually always open selaed games even if they are original seal.
There was a DS game I wanted to keep sealed for keeping it, but I couldn't resist for even 2 days. I HAD to look at that cart and instruction manual and of course play the game.
What game?
One of those Club Nintendo games?
Yes, it was a Club Nintendo game. :)
Game & Watch Collection

How is that game anyway? I might import it.
It's nice for some fun, but the appeal isn't very lasting, at least for me.
