Title: Looking to buy 72-60 pin adapter for NES to Famicom games.
Post by: Agent X on November 18, 2008, 02:38:24 pm
Just as the thread title says.  It's what I need, and if anyone has one I'd love to purchase it off of you.  I only have DISCOVER card though, so that's how I'd be paying via PAYPAL, assuming the possible seller is set up for it.  Thanks for checking out this want thread. My eBAY feedback is here (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=rastan_87&ftab=AllFeedback) should anyone want to know how this newcomer to this community rolls.  I'm legit both as a buyer and seller, both on eBAY and off.

i have one, but its really really nice and not a cheaply made plastic one. it would be hard to let go of, and will be pricey. but i will sell it to you. name your price.

I'd rather know how much you want for it.  How much is Pricey?
I don't want to go too high (I'm paying off debt too) but I don't
want to be a shyster and offer a low ball offer either.  If you're
partial to it though, maybe you shouldn't sell it.  While I do want
one I know full well what it's like to sell something and then wished
I hadn't 8 or 10 months later.

Where you projecting from BTW?                                                 (I'm in San Antonio, TX USA)
Would you have a pic of the convertor by any chance?
You set up for PayPal by any chance?
Any kind of references like I showed?

No offense is meant on that last part but this is the Internet and I'm new
here so it's only good business to ask a question like that.  I'm definately
interested though, just like to cover all the bases.
  Whenever I'm the seller
my usual M.O. is to picture the item before packing, during packing, and final
packed up job + manifest with buyer's address clearly visible AS PROOF it's
going to them, and email all of that to the respective buyer.  Thus I'm a very
detailed person, so again... "No offense sir."

Sounds like you want 60-to-72 pins, so you can play Famicom games on your NES. If so, I've got one at the bottom of my sale thread: http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=781.0

Maybe I miss labeled the thread... I want the convertor that allows NES games to be played on my AV FAMICOM.  I'm hoping that is what the TheUninvitedGremlin above you posted a picture of.  I had one of those (like his pictured) years ago for the Game Axe handheld, but my GF (now my wife) put the damn thing in backwards to play the NES version of Tetris and screwed up both the system and convertor cart.  DOH!

I have that same converter. It works well but is tough to remove from my Twin Fami sometimes.
