Does anyone knows what is the Ext port B on a Sharp twin is used for?......
RAM cartridge for Disk System, I think.
The Twin has a built-in disk system...why would it need a RAM adaptor?
To connect a RAM cart to another famicom, to use the disk system.
If it is the port on the side, it is the expansion port from the fds ram cartridge (which is built into the twin.) If it is the port on the back or bottom (can't remember which, heh) that has wires connecting it to itself, it is unknown what its purpose is. Well, both are unknown really, but the latter is exclusive to the sharp twin. I got all this information from a famicom dojo episode on youtube as I only own the famicom and disk system addon. And lastly, has anyone successfully been able to wire a NES controller to the Sharp Twin EXT port A.....I have seen a few pinouts for the 15 pin port connector out there, but none of them seem very accurate.....Any advise would be great...Thanks!
I've been wanting to try that myself, but I cannot find a 15 pin connector anywhere. Well, I did find one at some electronics store, but the fucker was too short thus ruining its compatibility with my famicom. If you need a good pinout, check out the one in the link below!:
