Title: FS: Famicom related stuff (a work in progress)
Post by: madman on January 19, 2009, 04:33:28 pm
Up for sale now is my OneStation, you guys may or may not know about this little system. It's basically a portable system that plays pirated games and some originals. This thing has a really awesome screen. NES World has an article here: http://www.nesworld.com/pirate-onestation.php (http://www.nesworld.com/pirate-onestation.php)

System:

Carts:

I have a partial game list, but there are some interesting ones on these carts. A Sonic hack, Super Donkey Kong 2 HK original, Tank 1990 HK/Taiwan original, Aladdin 2 HK, Tom & Jerry 3 (even has Tom smoking a joint on the title screen, hilarious) and Pokemon Golden. The carts actually have all unique games, so they aren't 35-in 1 carts with 3 games on them. This also includes the box and accessories, I just don't have a picture. Asking $55 for the lot.

Bump...$50 now. After people paying $100+ for gameaxes with crappy screens in the past nobody wants to pay $50 for a portable with a ton of games and an awesome screen?

Yea, it doesn't play Famicom games, but it's got over 100 unique games in a small form factor. Even if you just take this and one of the 35 in 1 carts around, it takes up far less space than a gameaxe + 35 Famicom carts :) Here is a quick write-up on a couple of the carts:

Adventure 16-in-1
1. Sonic - I'm not sure what this is, it is probably a hack as it seems too good to be a HK original.
2. Hudson's Adventure Island 3
3. Super Donkey Kong 2 - A HK original of Donkey Kong Country from the SNES. This looks and plays pretty well.
4. Bonk's Adventure
5. Mitsume Go Tooru
6. Sword Master
7. Bucky O'Hare
8. Caveman Ninja
9. Adventure in Asmik Land
10. Banana Prince
11. Chiki Ch - Japanese version of Wacky Races
12. Little Nemo The Dream Master
13. Kiwi Kraze
14. Super Mario Bros.
15. Tower of Druaga
16. Elevator Action

Classical 34-in-1
1. Ninja Turtles 2 - TMNT II: The Arcade Game
2. Mega Man 5
3. Super Donkey Kong 2 - Same HK original as the Adventure cart
4. Cosmic E - Cosmic Epsilon
5. Super C - Super Contra
6. Double Dragon 2
7. Ninja Gaiden 2
8. Shadow of the Ninja
9. Bubble Bobble Part 2
10. Ms. Pac-Man
11. Tetris
12. Super Mario Bros.
13. Spartan X -
14. Tank 1990 - Looks like a HK original
15. Arkanoid
16. Flappy
17. Galaga
18. Kung Fu - Yie Ar Kung Fu (Japanese)
19. Lunar Ball
20. Othllo - Othello (mislabelled on the box as well)
21. 1942
22. Mah Jong 2 - Unsure of this one, no title screen
23. Macross
24. Balloon Fight
25. Bomberman
26. Dig Dug
27. Donkey Kong
28. Donkey Kong Jr.
29. Galaxian
30. Lode Runner
31. Mappy
32. Sky Destroyer
33. Space Invaders
34. Pinball

Movie 15-in-1
1. Spider-Man
2. Gremlins 2
3. Batman Returns
4. Batman
5. Harry Potter - A hack of some NES game
6. Terminator
7. Jackie Chan
8. Mission Impossible
9. Punisher
10. Robocop
11. The Hunt for Red October
12. Alien 3
13. Home Alone 2
14. Rayban the Third
15. Tank 1990 - Same as the Classical cart

Cartoon 12-in-1
1. Aladdin 2 - Appears to be a HK original based on the crappy physics
2. Tiny Toon Adventures 2
3. Captain America and the Avengers - Modified with Spanish text and the title screen says "Captain Rucarli Y Los Avengers"
4. Captain Planet and the Planeteers
5. Tom & Jerry 3 - Must be a HK original, Tom smokes a joint on the title screen.
6. Simpsons - Bartman Meets Radioactive Man.
7. Flintstones 2 - The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak
8. Jetsons
9. Defenders of Dynatron City
10. Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends - The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle
11. Ren & Stimpy Show
12. Pokemon Golden - Graphics hack of Tom and Jerry, it even has "Jerry" as your player's name on the screen.

The games offer is really tempting... does this one come with a TV-out cable? (my Sega Master System handheld does)

I wondered if you could use a GBA flashcart with it, but from the pics it looks like the board pins/contacts are different.

Judging by the games the pinout is very probably Famicom compatible, unless this is the handheld than can also run 16 bit games.

Bonk's Adventure is a cool game, I have it on the Virtuole :P

I don't think you can use a flashcart with it, the devs probably did that on purpose :-\

Yep, has a TV out cable, it's in the box w/all the other stuff...wrist strap is in there too I think. This is the one that can run 16-bit games too. Essentially each cart is a NOAC+ROM, the onestation is more or less a TV+joystick.

It does indeed come with A/V out.

Anyone here interested in a working FDS drive? I think I have 3 or so extras that all work fine. I'll also photograph my remaining Famicom carts and put them up here within the week.

Responded to a few PMs...basically I'm busy w/work this week so I might not get around to getting details/pics until the weekend. Hopefully will get the carts posted here tomorrow (technically today since it's 2am).

Bump...the Onestation is still available...cmon $50 for all that portable Fami goodness? That's a bargain.

I also have the following lot...I have no idea what it's worth, if you want them all, make me an offer that sounds reasonable and they're yours.

Not sure on all the titles as I haven't played these carts in forever, but many are obvious based on the artwork.
