Title: Help with video suggestions
Post by: JewWario on February 02, 2009, 11:34:39 am
I have been working on some videos about Japanese games for the Famicom and Super Famicom that are playable by anyone even if you don't know Japanese. I try to stay away from games that have difficult menus and/or RPGs.

Anyways, so that I have a lot of games to work with for future episodes, I would like to ask you all what games you enjoy that are easy to learn to play.

Episodes so far are (links included):
1.1 - Kai no Bouken (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBqargJKcN4)
1.2 - Umihara Kawase (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiPIiOWe3MU)
1.3 - Ike Ike Nekketsu Hockey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wALhmE4Vt4)
1.4 - Devil World (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGb2ZP5zPzs)

and I'm working on:
Recca/Parodus Da, Ganbare Goemon, Tokaido 53 tsugi, Wing of Madoola, Binary Land, and Yie Ar Kung Fu.

Anyone have any other titles from import retro systems that never made it States-side?

Ah, good thinking, but Star Soldier came out for the NES in the US.

Crisis Force! Yes! Good thinking. I can add that to the Recca/Parodius Da set.

I'm looking for games other than shooters and fighters (although it would be a crime not to do 'Joy Mech Fight')

And 'Electrician'? I hadn't heard of it. What system?

Well, I have done over 20 episodes this year and I am still going strong.

I wanna thank all the people from Famicom World who encourage me and come to watch my videos.

Any games you're dying to see?

Nice to see you here again JewWario!  I've really enjoyed all of your episodes.  One game I would like to see you play is Joy Mech Fight.  If you already made an episode of this, please link me to it!  If you're into unlicensed games, then I would recommend Sonic the Hedgehog. :)

Gegege no Kitaro... that's a pretty good idea, but it was released in the US under the name 'Ninja Kid'.

Actually, How about Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti? That was a fun little game and it had a lot of things that made me laugh. I highly recommend it to fellow famicom lovers as well.
