I think I have that playstation disease, lol. It's a pretty cool story, too bad I'm not doing weird news on the college radio anymore.

Only problems I ever had concerning video games was
The Nintendo Thumb and the occasional bout of
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from the way certain controllers
were made and I gripped to tight.  But usually on that last
note I was using a different joystick, so outside of Nintendo
Thumb I don't see this as anything new.  So basically ppl
are getting "Bunyons" on their hands from the spider like
shape of PS2/PS3 controllers.

:D

That's stupid...
If that were true..we'd all have them by now, and I play guitar and bass too...so my hands would be like..useless :D
I kind of laughed when I saw this though...I used to play Guitar Hero with this kid all the time..and then he was diagnosed with arthritis in his left hand :P He moved his hand really spastically whenever he'd play
And, they shouldn't call it PlayStation palmar hidradentitis...when it's not caused by PS, but by buttons ::)

Yeah really.
I've played games for several hours on a stretch, the worst thing I ever had to do what shake my hands out a bit every now and again from sitting and holding the controller for long periods. That's about it. Many hours soaked in on the PSX too.

The only time I ever had a negative reaction, is when I played WoW everday with a buddy of mine for about a week straight. My right wrist straight up hurt by day 6 whe I would cock my wrist back to put my hand in a mouse cradling position. Don't play WoW anymore... expensive.
