Title: Hoshi Wo Miru Hito: Densetsu no Kusoge?
Post by: skyrunner14 on March 06, 2009, 02:29:41 pm
I'm sure most Famicom fans know about this game by now... Hoshi wo Miru Hito, or Stargazer for a literal translation. It was an RPG released by Hot-B, and is known as a "Densetsu no Kusoge"... legendary (crap) game. From what I've heard (and seen), the game sucked. Majorly. Actually, I can see that the developers really tried to make something great, though they failed miserably. The game had multiple endings, and featured an odd medicine system that was actually pretty intuitive. Despite it's crapiness, the game apparently had fans, as one guy actually made a patch for the game to make the graphics better and make things easier. Another group of people actually remade the game completely, though it is in Japanese. So, what are your opinions on the game? I'd be willing to give it a try if I could find a copy, and I would like to add it to my collection, if only for collection purposes...

There's a partial translation for it:

I've only ever heard of it because of the translation.
