Yup, but I'm guessing it's a copy from the real version. The disk doesn't have a label or anything. Still, it's really awesome to have. Especially since I just got it with a bunch of other disk system games not realizing. I'm thinking about listing it on my store but I'm worried about some collector buying it then complaining it's not the original version. Any thoughts?
It's pretty neat to play. It would be a lot cooler though if I knew the majority of characters in it. Still fun though. :)
How much would you be listing it for? :P
Just say in the auction that it's not an original disk and everything should be fine.
I wouldn't mind if it wasn't original, just the fact that its actually All Night Nippon would be good enough.
How much are you listing it for?
A seller on eBay sold several copies. People were immediately skeptical of the authenticity of each disk, because the seller showed the label. Take a pic with the label and you should be fine. Most people know what a legit label looks like.
Yeah, I guess if I sell it saying it's a disk with All Night Nippon on it I'd avoid most issues. Not sure how much I'll be selling it for but obviously significantly less than an actual copy.
Now I'm wondering if it would have been better to put this thread in the Marketplace hehe. I'll leave that up to the admin to decide.
Has anybody here ever played this before? I've played through the first couple of levels and it really is neat to see all the different characters.
It's changed up a little bit, but the only enemies changed are Goombas and Piranha Plants
/\ I thought Bowser was some weird seal looking thing too... maybe that is a different hack..off to check YT.
EDIT: May be a different hack I was referring to as at least the final bowser is normal, though there are radio microphones on the ground in one part I saw that I hadn't noticed before. No one ever plays without using the (*%(ing warp zones so I can't see 1-4, etc. >:(
EDIT: Lol, I was thinking about Pandamar :P
Yeah, in Pandamar, Bowser is a seal :P
And now that you say that, the axe that you chop the bridge with in the castle is the Fuji TV logo instead. It looks like a golden eye, sort of. It's also on the cover of the Doki Doki Panic disk art.
I'm going to try to find a way to copy it onto some of my dead disks. So far only had a chance to try it out with Disk Hacker 1.2. Unfortunately, the file was too big for it. Will try again once I find a more advanced program.
If I can manage to make copies, I'll probably sell them for like $9 each. Basically paying for the disks and the time it would take me to make them. I'll see if I can make up some cute (but obviously fake for authenticity purposes) labels too.
That would make a lot of people happy I guess. :D
Do it, I'd buy one!
If someone has the .FDS file, or a disk of All Night Nippon I'd be happy to make copies for anyone who wants one.
hehe okay. It'll probably be a little while before I can find another decent disk writing program. Let me know if any of you guys see one. :)
