SUPERVISION is probably the most well-known pirated version of NES games. Normally they do come in both version - Asian & International. I dunno maybe PAL & NTSC? They are quite rare to be spotted on Ebay and won't be there up for long.
Need some Supervision info & pictures of it !!!
- Between Nes Supervision & Famicom Supervision Carts, which version is freaking hard to locate?
- Which is the most sought after Supervision single cart? (Eg. Castlevania, Konami World, Goonies & etc.....)
- Which is the most sought after Supervision Multi cart? (Eg. 8 In 1, 20 In 1, 110 In 1 & etc.....)
- Besides the Grey Supervision cart, there is also a rare Silver Supervision cart?
- Found any of Supervision on Ebay? (Pls post the link in here..) ::)
- Has anyone seen a MEGACOM Supervision cart?
- Do you own a Supervision cart?
I've come across a lot of NES Supervision and Megacom carts, but I've never seen them for Famicom. I don't think Supervision or Megacom made Famicom pirates. I've never seen a silver Supervision cart. That's about all I know.

Hi JC, I actually do have a Supervision Famicom cart and a rare silver Supervision cart. Will upload the pictures later.
During my search for Supervision Famicom cart found that there is actually two version of Supervision Famicom. Actually some of us might already own the Famicom cart not knowing it is the real Supervision. What???

OK, yes, I recognize that 52 in 1 label. I think I may have had one of those before. Unfortunately, without the box, it seems like it's impossible to know if it's a Supervision or Megacom cart. I don't recall any impressions on the cart or print on the label indicating those companies.
Yup, 52 in 1 label didn't indicate a Supervision logo on the back of the cart. I am pretty sure it is a Megacom cart. As for my Supervision Famicom does have Supervision logo front & back. Below is the pics for Supervision Silver cart.

Do you know where these carts come from? I was under the impression Supervision is a Hong Kong company, like the Hong Kong Game Cartridge Company.

Supervision originated from Taiwan. They are partly owned by the Taiwan Government, maybe the Taiwanese hated the Japanese to the extend that they decided heck why not just make a pirate copy back in the late 80's. At that time there was no law on NES bootleg copies.
They are normally found in South East Asian countries. First these games are brought into Hong Kong as a base warehouse due to close proximity. Then these Supervision games spreaded downward towards Thailand,Malaysia,Singapore,Indonesia and Philipines. Some of these games manage to travel as far as Argentina & Brazil. By the time it reaches America, it was totally stop or confiscated due to anti piracy law filed by Nintendo in America.
I currently have a bid on one on ebay.
