An NES cart turned into an NES system (some NES on a chip was used):

Yes, I think I've seen that before, but it's a really nice idea.
Unnecessary, but it would be very cool to have.
Nothing you buy for fun is really necessary.
That's a neat little hack job. I wonder how hard something like that would be? Clone guts aren't very bulky due to NOAC.
I've always wanted to be able to make things like that but my skills at crafts of that type are nil. I do wonder what the reliability over time is on that sort of gadget, though.
Very cool, I guess the only hard part would be making the holes and removing the pegs.
/\ None of those things would be hard with the right tools.
Damn... I'm impressed!
Where can I buy one of those? That's actually pretty cool, though I'd want one made out of a P.O.W. cartridge or Guerrilla War, something with that classic SNK kick ass artwork on it. I myself wish I had the skills to do something like this, because I would. Never seen that before, so it's not "Old News" to me.
;)
Speaking of impressive mods, how about this one?

It's a entire NES inside a toaster :D
More info can found here http://www.stupidfingers.com/projects/nintoaster/ (http://www.stupidfingers.com/projects/nintoaster/)
/\ The vid for that is pretty funny.
I`ve seen the opposite of that; a NES into a toaster. :P
But the heat would melt the plastic, right?
I don`t know....they obviously thought of something...
Yeah, like JUST TAKING OUT THE HEATING ELEMENT.
Converting an NES to a toaster? If you took out the heating element, you'd have a paperweight.
Oh... I read it the other way around.
