Title: Gameboy Advance Multicarts
Post by: featherplucknfilms on October 28, 2006, 07:35:00 pm
Does anyone know anyone selling GBA pirate multicarts? I bought one like 6 years ago in Los Angeles Chinatown for like $30 and it's the best thing ever.  I just carry that around with my GBA (now micro) and that's all I needed, 50 classic NES/Famicom games in one tiny unit!!  But now I'm kinda sick of those games and want something else but I don't know where to look.  I tried eBay but I can't seem to find anything (just searched "GBA in 1" but I feel there's gotta be someone in Thailand or something selling them. Anyone know anything??  Or have any they want to sell or trade to me??

i just remembered when I was in Hong Kong I saw these "GBA flash cards" I think is what they called them.  Basically you could put an emulator and your whatever games you wanted on that and it could play it.  Maybe I should tyr to find one of those, even better.  But now I'm looking at the GP2X...man that things awesome.

Did a search and this is all I came up with:

He's got a few of them and that lot.  They look good but have typical multicart games.  Now I've got my eyes on the GP2x and placed a bid but doubt I'll win. Maybe I'll wait for Christmas for it.

I just use this emulator:

Of course I only play around with it on my GBA on trips and such.  Nothing is as good as original hardware. ;)

I have looked into all the stuff that is going on with GBA Flash Cards.
You can play NES Games, SNES Games, as well as other systems. Put Music and Videos on them, as well as a few other cool things. You could essentially put ever NES Game on one flash-card and play them on your GBA. Of course this is illegal, and Flash Cards are intended for legal uses.

And for the Multicarts. There is a Flea Market near me that has a booth, and the person there sells a few GBA Multicarts with various games. I think they were only about $10 each.
